These activities become part of your Professional Practice Portfolio, a record of your learning, workplace application, reflection, and professional growth throughout the CAWP program.

Program Registration
Your Path to the CAWP Professional Designation
The Certified Animal Welfare Professional (CAWP) program includes nine advanced modules designed for experienced professionals working toward their professional designation.
Program Registration Fee
When you decide to work toward the full CAWP professional designation, a one-time Program Registration Fee is required. This fee must be paid before the designation can be issued.

Bulk pricing requires enrollment within one year of purchase. No refunds.
To earn the Certified Animal Welfare Professional designation, all nine modules must be completed within 36 months of the start date of the learner's first module.

The CAWP Designation is currently being offered as a pilot program. Participant feedback and ongoing evaluation will help shape the program's future development. As the program evolves, some requirements or program elements may be refined. Any significant changes will be communicated to participants.

Six Modules. One Integrated Leadership Journey.
The Certificate in Animal Shelter Operations combines six curriculum modules with workplace application and final integration requirements. Participants build practical leadership and operational capability while developing their Shelter Operations Improvement Portfolio.
